PROVINCE OF GUWAHATI
Canonical Erection - 24 May 2008
On 24 May 2008, feast of our Blessed Mother, Mary Help of Christians, the fifth province of our Institute was erected under the title Province of Guwahati, bifurcating our province of Kolkata. The new province, comprising our twelve houses in the States of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya and Nagaland, serves the dioceses of Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Kohima, Miao and Tura.
